Eradicating poverty and vulnerability in Zambia through provision of Inclusive community education and community empowerment programs at grass root level.
Tonse climatic change community project
Topping Crue foundation has project proposal that are aimed at fighting climatic change through mitigation and adaptation by providing education and training on climatic change Zambia with the possibility of extending our services to the entire African Continent. For topping Crue we have realized that climatic is the root cause of vulnerability and poverty today in that its impact adversly affects the livelihood of the mojority of the world population who depend on farming and agriculture as a major source of income. And for developed Nations they have managed climatic change impacts well but not so with the majority of African countries Zambia inclusive. According to a research conducted by us it became visible that many people especially peasant farmers who entirely depend on farming to earn a living through agriculture lack proper education and training on climatic change. As a result they can implement the either adaptationor mitigation climatic change solutions once hit by one of its impact. Hence it is for this reason that our organization started a Tonse project aimed at fighting against climatic change by educating and training the community members equiping them with enough knowledge and training which enables them to withstand the impact of climatic change. By so we contribute to the alleviation of poverty and vulnerability thereby promoting the achievement of universally recognized sustainable development goals especial go No 1 of no poverty and goal No 2 of Zero hunger. Eradicating poverty in all its forms remains one of the greatest challenges facing humanity. While the number of people living in extreme poverty dropped by more than half between 1990 and 2015 – from 1.9 billion to 836 million too many are still struggling for the most basic human needs in Zambia and other sub-Saharan African countries, which account for 80 percent of those living in extreme poverty. New threats brought on by climate change, even more work is needed to bring people out of poverty, and this is the main reason why we are here in the fight against climatic change through provision of education and training on climatic change under our Tonse climatic change project alleviating, eradicating vulnerability. Zambians and Africans need more training and education to fully fight climatic change because today maize is great attacked by army worms in zambia as can be evidenced in the picture bellow. this is one of the great impact of climatic change which is contributing to poverty and hungr in general hence the reason we are fighting climatic change through this project please come on board to enable us fully implement our project
